Founded in 1997, the company began as Bauer Trenching, supporting local contractors and utility companies throughout Nebraska. As telecommunications and underground construction continued to evolve, so did Bauer. The company incorporated in 2002 and expanded its capabilities, equipment, and reach to take on increasingly complex projects.
Today, Bauer Underground provides utility installation and underground construction services across eight states. From miles of rural fiber optic construction to complex urban utility projects, our teams bring the experience, equipment, and project management needed to get the job done safely and efficiently.
